There is nothing quite so pretty as newly fallin' fluffy snow. It's also quite rare for us to have a sunny morning after it has snowed all night. Usually our days in Upstate New York are gray and drab in the winter months. But it was just so beautiful yesterday that I had to go out and take a few pictures before I headed off to work.
These pictures really don't due the scene justice. I really like living in Upstate New York for the most part, although I must admit, about February 10th I am sick of all the snow. We do have four definite seasons, which is a big plus, but winter is just too darn long. But I will take the snow over earthquakes, hurricanes and tornadoes any day. We rarely have rough weather and when we do it's usually in the form of a blizzard (which is easy to handle) compared to other weather conditions.
I also wanted to mention that the last One World One Heart Blog Event and Giveaway will start the end of the month on January 30th. I will be participating again this year. I haven't decided yet what I will give away, but it will be spectacular as usual, if I do say so myself.
