Exciting E-Book Announcement

Those of you that follow my blog may have noticed things have been a little quiet around here these days.

As with any hobby, there are highs and lows.  I haven't been posting any new projects because, frankly, I haven't been inspired to create anything new.  I have been focusing on the monthly newsletter mostly, although with the holidays this month, I have even put that on hold until January.

But now, I am starting to get inspired and have decided to take D&G Gardens and Crafts to the next level.

I'm in the beginning stages of writing an eBook!  I'm very excited about this project and can't wait to share more details with you as I progress on the book.

For right now, the book will consist of a handful of outdoor projects that are currently on www.gardensandcrafts.com and several new projects  The existing projects will be re-written to include tips and tricks I have learned along the way and more detailed how-to instructions with more step-by-step photos.  The new projects will incorporate the principals I like to use in all my projects: Re-Use, Re-Purpose, Re-Invent.

The great thing about this book is that you will have the most popular projects on our site, that you wished were in an easy to read printable format, plus some new ones to get you inspired to spruce up your yard and gardens.

As of this writing, my goal is to get the book published by December 2013.  That may seem like a long time, but a year can go by in a flash.  If you have any suggestions, or any advise for writing my first eBook, I welcome those comments.

Before I go, I'd like to remind all of you that "After Christmas" pricing is already in effect in our Etsy shop.  We accept Mastercard, Visa, Paypal and Money Orders.  In addition to Christmas items being marked down, you can also save an additional 10% off every item in our shop using coupon code "WEB2012" thru 12/31/2012.
